Whether you are a parent looking for family-friendly activities in Orlando, you're a local dog owner, or you just want to scope out a new spot in Central Florida we recommend you check out Boxi Park Lake Nona. The cool new community space is located in the Lake Nona Town Center and the most unique part about Boxi Park? The businesses inside it are housed in repurposed shipping containers.

New Shipping Container Venue Livens Up Lake Nona Events Scene

Lake Nona's Boxi Park is a multidimensional place to eat, drink, shop, play and exercise. The 30,000 sqft outdoor gathering space features a children's playground, dog park, lawn activities, a running trail, volleyball, restaurants, bars, and a music venue. Boxi Park's developer the Tavistock Restaraunt Collection is excited that Boxi Park has become an incubator for new restaurant concepts.

At Boxi Park you'll find a variety of different fares. From street tacos at Canonita to seafood sandwiches from Claw and Order to the buttermilk fried chicken at Fowl Play you'll find fantastic food options for every palate. You even can treat your sweet tooth to desserts at Before It Melts, an old fashioned ice creamery. There are plenty of drink options as well.

Adults can sit in shady green spaces and sip on margaritas from La Cajita or beer and wine from Hops and Vine. You can also find lots of non-alcoholic options for when you need to rehydrate from enjoying lawn games in the sun or after a relaxing run. But just know that Boxi Park is a cashless venue, so make sure to bring a debit or credit card with you.
