Family activities in Orlando typically involve the theme parks, but there are many other options for those looking for fun outside of the attractions. Check out some of our ideas for things to do with kids in Orlando.

Orlando Science Center

The Orlando Science Center is a kid-friendly venue in Orlando that encourages learning through curiosity and exploration. Exhibits include Our Planet, DinoDigs, NatureWorks, and Kinetic Zone. There's also the new Kids Town, designed for kiddos aged 7 and under.

Orange County Regional History Center

Another educational goodie, the history center is a great way to teach your kids about past decades in their hometown. There are exhibits on the first people to live in Florida, the natural environment, the citrus industry and even the history of the theme parks.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Orlando

Embrace your kid's need for speed with the world's longest indoor go-cart track. Drivers must be at least 48 inches tall. After your race around the track, check out the arcade, ropes course, laser tag, and bowling.

Gatorland

Get up close and personal with Florida's scariest wildlife. Gatorland is home to more than 2,000 alligators and its more aggressive sibling, the crocodile.  Take the fun off road, splashing through a pond full of gators, during a new rugged tour in adventure vehicles. There's also a zip line, among other attractions.

iFly Indoor Skydiving

Have a thrill-seeking child? How 'bout skydiving without having to jump out of a plane? This is indoor skydiving. iFly allows guests to feel like they're free falling by creating a skydiving experience in a vertical wind tunnel. Kids as young as three can try it out!

Art In The Park Orlando

Skip the messes at home and let kids be kids. When looking for things to do with kids in Orlando, Art in the Park is a must. The mobile art studio brings artsy crafts to different parks around Orlando, and all supplies are provided.

Planet Obstacle

This giant, indoor jungle gym is a great way to burn calories as a family! Activities include rock climbing, ropes courses, a trampoline park, and an American Ninja Warrior-inspired obstacle course.

These are just a few of the fun things to do with kids in Orlando. Family activities are the perfect excuse to get out of the house for a little togetherness that everyone will love!
