Planet Obstacle is a fairly new business to the area, as it just opened in July of 2017. Owned by two Cirque du Soleil veterans, the 50,000-square-foot park includes ropes courses, a trampoline park, toddler area, bumper cars and a rock climbing wall, just to name a few of the attractions. Honestly, it's basically one big jungle gym, and what kid wouldn't love that?!

If you're reading this thinking it sounds like fun, then you should know that adults can get in on the action, too. Parents don't have to sit on the sidelines! Obstacles are designed according to age, and there's plenty that's available for the "big kids." If you're a fan of the TV show American Ninja Warrior, you can test your strength on the adult Ninja Warrior Course. There's also ninja course for the kids. The company also offers team building packages for corporate events.

All the energy you exert will probably have your tummy growling so make a stop at the cafe, which offers items like sandwiches, pizza, wings and party platters.

Planet Obstacle is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but open all other days until 8 p.m. Pricing is different per obstacle but averages about $15-$20. They're currently offering discounts for the month of January. All participants over 18 must sign a liability waiver and a parent or guardian must sign for the little ones.  Special socks are required for some of the activities which can be purchased for $3. Take the family to Planet Obstacle and burn some calories together!
