Craft tacos are the new IT food. If you want to get a little crunchy or prefer the softer side of the taco game to celebrate national taco day, Cinco de Mayo or Taco Tuesday, Orlando has plenty of south-of-the-border-inspired taco spots to keep your taste buds saying, Ole! Here are ten places where you can bite down on the best tacos in Orlando.

Gringos Locos

If you are out for a night in Downtown Orlando, look no further than  Gringos Locos tacos! Whether a "Sloppy taco" type or more of a "Double D's" type person like myself, gringos is the place to go. Open late to serve you after an epic night downtown, right within walking distance.

Pepe's Cantina

In search of the best tacos in Downtown Orlando? Pepe’s Cantina was born out of a desire to create a quality and fun dining experience with great food and specialty cocktails. Chef Jose’s innovative menu puts a new twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. With two Mexican restaurants in Orlando, you can dine on some of the best tacos in Orlando made with fresh handmade tortillas.  Choose from a multitude of fillings from steak, shrimp, shredded chicken, and carnitas.

Tako Cheena

If you are a fan of Mama Ling Ling's at Pom Poms, and haven't been to Tako Cheena by Pom Pom yet, you might want to fix that! Located in the Mills 50 District, Tako Cheena boats a Latin Asian fusian style of Tacos, burritos, empanadas and more! Try the Thai peanut chicken or the incredibly crisp cod fish tacos, paired with a Jarritos or a Mexican Coca-Cola til 4am weekends to catch you post-bar or club night!

Wall Street Cantina

Considered a staple in downtown Orlando, Wall Street Cantina is always bustling with people looking for a good time. If your looking for good Taco Tuesday deals, look no further than  Wall Street Cantina. Get specials on Tex-Mex style tacos, house margaritas, and Mexican beers for just $3. Want to keep the party going? Entry for Taco Tuesday after 5p is just $5 with your college ID.

Tin & Taco

Delight in the art of craft tacos! New to the Downtown Orlando scene, Tin & Taco carries some pretty cool craft taco and beverage combos. Try the bourbon chicken taco, complete with rice sticks and a soda from the craft soda machine, or go with a tin of your favorite brew. Tin and Taco is a must eat when downtown.

Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar

The art of craft tacos and cocktails combined with some epically large margaritas even makes me want to take a little drive to the Dr. Phillips area and hit up Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar. You can enjoy both regional and authentic Mexican style tacos, paired with one of their many tequila margarita combos. Stay late on weekends, and burn some of those calories off as they crank up the DJ and open up the dance floor.

Black Rooster Taqueria

Located in the Mills 50 neighborhood, Black Rooster Taqueria is similar to your typical Mexican Taqueria with a craft spin. Watch them as they make the tortillas fresh on the griddle and make your way in and out. Limited seating, but worth it even if it is to go!

Sloppy Taco Palace

Sloppy Taco Palace is a casual, cool hangout in the Orlando area offering deliciously unique tacos, nachos, appetizers, homemade sangria, beer, liquor, and more. Take in the diner-style atmosphere and cool decor and kick back with a drink at the bar.

Want to get away from the immediate downtown area? Just a 10 minute drive away, you can find  PR's Taco Palace - College Park. Just off the beaten path, in College Park, this gem serves both authentic style Mexican, and Tex-Mex style tacos. Grab some tacos and hit one of the picnic tables for a good lunch or dinner.
