Free Events & Things To Do Near Disney World

Believe it or not, you can get some Disney magic without paying for it. You can visit Disney Springs free of charge. Though you may certainly be tempted to spend some money in the shops and restaurants near Disney World there, you can have a good time just window shopping and walking around. You may also be able to find some street entertainment or other special events going on in this tiny Disney community.

If you're looking for some outdoor recreation or want to spend some time with nature, there are a number of parks that you can visit in the community. Some of these include Lake Eola Park, which occasionally has free live music, free movies in the park and plays. Big Tree Park, which is a great place to have a picnic, and the Snow Hill Mountain Bike Trail, which is a great place to take your bicycles and go for a ride.

Free Things To Do In Orlando With The Family 

Kissimmee Old Town is a place you can go for free entertainment in the evenings and fun things to do with the kids. There are also a number of museums and gardens that you can view for free. Some options include the Harry P. Leu Gardens, which has gorgeous flowers, a butterfly garden, and a historic house from the 1880's, the Keila Glassworks Gallery, which features beautiful artwork made of glass, and the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens, which has an outdoor sculpture garden as well as an indoor gallery that is open during the winter.

Winter Park showcases a classier side to discount fun.  Spend the day window shopping on Park Ave.  Check out the Winter Park Farmers Market full of local wears and fresh produce.  Central Park in Winter Park features FREE popcorn flicks in the park.  All you need is a blanket or lawn chair and a few of your favorite snacks.
