Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at RockPit Brewing
Event Details
"What music would you play when you played on Bourbon St. during St. Patrick's Day?"
We asked Gypsy Elise and Her Royal Blues (the band we have for live music Friday night) that question.
They said, "A little bit of everything. Zydeco, Jazz, Irish... all sorts of shenanigans."
Our eyebrows raised a bit as we asked, "Can you do that for us?"
"Of course!"
So... Instead of a repeat of our St. Patrick's Day celebration that we're throwing on Wednesday, we're going to celebrate on Friday night with the music you'd find on Bourbon St. on St. Patrick's Day.
We'll have two RockPit Brewing Irish beers on tap (Irish Dry Stout & Irish Red Ale), Irish fare like Shepherd's Pie and Corned Beef melts, and live music from Gypsy Elise and her Royal Blues, just like you'd find on Bourbon St.
No green beer will be available as Irish beer isn't green.
