Come enjoy 3 days of fishing, food, and fun on Lake Monroe! Get Hook’d will start Friday January 10th with a Captains meeting and Pre-Party at Celery City Craft. Main fishing tournament and Seafood Festival will be held on Saturday January 11th.

Come enjoy 3 days of fishing, food, and fun on Lake Monroe!
Get Hook’d will start Friday January 10th with a Captains meeting and Pre-Party at Celery City Craft. Main fishing tournament and Seafood Festival will be held on Saturday January 11th and the event will close out on Sunday January 12th with a kids fishing rodeo and fish fry.
Saturday's main event will include live music, food, and vendors. There will be kids areas and games for all ages. Get Hook’d has teamed up with local charities and will set up a 5 stage fishing class for kids. This will cover everything from technique and equipment as well as conservation. The first 150 kids to complete all 5 stages will receive a new fishing pole and are encouraged to fish in the kids tournament on Sunday.
The main tournament has 2 divisions; Crappie and Bass. Each division will be best 5 fish (in weight) at a live weigh in. Top 9 places will pay out in both divisions. We have over $10,000 in prizes! Best of all this tournament is completely FREE to enter or just to come for the festivities.
We are changing the perception of fishing tournaments by making them available to anyone and fun for your entire family and friends to come along!
Schedule
** FRIDAY Jan. 10th **
6:00pm – 10:00pm Captains Meeting
All fishing teams must come to register for the tournament at the captains meeting to be able to fish in the tournament on Saturday. Anglers are not required to stay for the entire captains meeting they just need to register. An overview of the contest and rules will be given by the tournament director at 7pm followed by Q & A for anyone with questions.
Registered Anglers will receive a free White Claw at the captains meeting and will receive all the rules and regulations and tournament ruler.
** SATURDAY Jan. 11th **
7:00am – 1:00pm Fishing Tournament
Both the Bass and Crappie tournament will start at 7am. Weigh-ins will start at 1:00pm and will be separated out in flights of 25 teams per every 30 minutes.
1:00pm – 4:00pm Tournament Weigh-in
All anglers will be assigned a time slot to come in for weigh-in at registration at the captains meeting. Slots will be pulled lottery style. There may be penalties for arriving late to
