The Veranda has long been known as an exclusive event space in Thornton Park. One of the most sought-after private venues in Central Florida, its historic buildings are shaded by century-old trees. The Veranda has multiple courtyards and has been a popular venue for weddings, meetings, parties and community events. Recently, one of the courtyards of The Veranda has been updated to offer the historic district something new. Live Music in Thornton Park. 

The Veranda in the Thornton Park District is now a live music venue in Orlando. Known as The Veranda LIVE at Thornton Park, the courtyard has been renovated and now contains a new stage, lighting and sound system. The best part? The Veranda Live is intended to provide the community with free concerts in Orlando. The space has the capacity to host 500 people and free community shows are planned for Thursdays and Sundays. The Veranda Live soft opened on Friday 1/19/2018 with a performance by The Hatebombs. The first official show is on the books for 2/22/2018 and will feature David Schweizer.

The Veranda Live Thornton Park Spring Concert Series Starts This Month

The Veranda LIVE at Thornton Park is an outdoor venue intended for both local and national musical acts.  The Modern Music Movement presents the shows in the space and they plan to book a wide range of genres of music, as well as other forms of entertainment.  The Modern Music Movement is an Orlando based music promotions and themed events production company. 

The Veranda is located in the heart of Thorton Park and is comprised of five 20th century homes. These homes have been renovated and restored to support the needs of the guests renting the space. They offer high-bandwidth video conferencing and smart office technology, but they also offer a human touch. The Veranda is known for its expert managers who create and execute smooth and successful events.
