Ivanhoe Village is a popular neighborhood between Downtown Orlando and Winter Park. The area is laden with laid-back locally owned business. Its variety of things to do in Orlando makes it a perfect place to while away an afternoon. One of our favorite spots to grab lunch made with fresh boars head products or a couple of drinks is The Caboose Bar | Orlando.

Caboose sports draft beer, a full liquor bar, pool tables, darts, and the Golden Tee arcade game.  A good Spot for Sunday Funday, Caboose offers the NFL package with some of the best drink specials in Orlando including $10 domestic buckets as well as $3 mimosas and Bloody Mary's.  They're also a great bar for a fun Friday Night in Orlando.  For $5 they pour all you can drink domestic drafts from 5:30pm-7:30pm.  The small business will also be hosting a new ladies night in Orlando on Thursdays from 9pm-12am featuring BOGO drinks and free jello shots!

Weekly Events and Drink Specials At The Caboose Bar In Ivanhoe Village

The Caboose Bar | Orlando is located close to Lake Ivanhoe and right in front of the train tracks. This might be the inspiration for the establishment's name, but it could also be owner Tim Scott's family history with the railroad. "My grandfather was an engineer on the trains, as well as two uncles," he tells us. Caboose has railroad memorabilia throughout the space. There are also pictures of old Orlando. Our favorite is of Joyland Theme Park, "the original precursor to Dinsey," Scott says.

Tim Scott has high expectations for his establishment.  Scott is proud to have a menu with items made from scratch, and his deli sandwiches are crafted exclusively with Boars Head products.  The military veteran expects all patrons to be greeted and treated properly; he's built a reputation for his establishment as a friendly, welcoming neighborhood bar in Orlando.

Caboose is located at 1827 N. Orange Ave and is open seven days a week from 12pm-2am.  Stop by for a fresh lunch, a few fairly priced drinks and a good time any day of the week.
