Event Details

Forest Bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of ‘shinrin yoku’. Shinrin means forest and yoku means bath. It’s a process where we experience the forest (nature) through our sense. It’s also scientifically been proven that the trees release a chemical called phytoncide. It’s used to protect them from harmful bugs and germs, and helps us do the same in our bodies.
Relax. Let Go. Release. Give Nature…and Receive.

Time in Nature is essential to ground and embody the goodness life has to offer. ⁣It is uplifts the mood, boosts the immune system, and relieves stress. ⁣You’ll be guided through this experience by Julie, plant-based nutritionist, herbalist and shamanic practitioner.

Please bring the following: A journal, a blanket or yoga mat, and bug repellent, just in case

Meeting location: Please meet a few minutes prior to class start time in front of the public restrooms located next to the parking lot.
