This Thanksgiving The Alfond Inn will be serving up a special holiday meal in the Park Avenue Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an endless buffet and carving and dessert stations galore. Antipasto and Tapas to include Sundried Tomato Goat Cheese, Traditional Hummus, Spanish Tomato Bruschetta, Marinated Artichokes with Olives and Peppers, Vegetarian Tofu Pasta Salad, Oven Roasted Beets with House-made Ricotta Cheese, Grilled Marinated Garden Vegetables with Balsamic Reduction, Roasted Chicken Salad with Celery, Walnuts and Green Apple, Pumpkin and Pear Salad with Goat Cheese and Champagne Vinaigrette, Caprese Salad and Pesto, Assorted Charcuterie Board and Bread Sticks, and Cured Olives and Pickeled Vegetables.
A special seclection of Chilled Salads and Fruits will feature Greenhouse Lettuce, Assorted Vegetables and House-made Dressings. Classic Caesar Salad, and Boutique Cheeses, along with Fresh and Dried Fruits, and Walnut Bread. Featured Hot Soup will be Pumpkin with Cinnamon Crouton.
Fresh Seafood Display on Ice will include Shrimp, Oysters, Crab Claws, American and French Cocktail Sauces, Horseradish Cream, Vodka Lime Cream, Roasted Garlic Aioli, and Green Apple Mignonette, as well as California Roll with Pickled Ginger, Wasabi and Soy.
The extensive Hot Buffet will offer Seafood Ravioli with Lobster Creme Sauce, Grouper with Stir Fried Vegetables and Ginger-Lemongrass Sauce, Chef Bill's Roasted Chicken with Natural Jus, Local Fall Vegetable Medley with Herbed Butter, and Rosemary-Garlic Roasted Potatoes.
Popular Carving Stations will feature Sea-Salt Herb Crusted Strip Loin with Chianti Glaze and Freshly Grated Horseradish, Puff Pastry Crusted Salmon with White Wine Sauce, Local Wild Mushroom and Truffle Oil Risotto, Local Turkey with Cranberry-Cumquat Sauce, Bread & Sausage Stuffing and Giblet-Sage Gravy, Honey-Lavender Roasted Ham with Pear Chutney, Roasted Sweet Potato Puree, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Whipped Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole.
