Event Details

Commissioner Sarah Sprinkel will lead the event from the main stage which will include an “Oath of Allegiance” naturalization ceremony. The ceremony will include remarks regarding the history of this monumental day, as well as congratulate our new American citizens on their historic milestone.

Schedule of Events:

9 a.m. Welcome & Nationalization
9:45 a.m. Performance by Sean Holcomb, Orlando native country, rock and Americana singer/ songwriter
10:35 a.m. Performance by the Bach Festival Brass Band
11 a.m. Performance by the Bach Festival Choir
11:30 a.m. Children’s Bicycle Parade
11:30 a.m. Performance by Sean Holcomb

Wear your red, white and blue, bring a blanket or beach chair, and gather with family and friends to enjoy this Winter Park tradition.

The Family Fun Program Kids Zone will include the annual bicycle parade, as well as touch-a-truck, fun games and inflatables. Children can bring their bikes already decorated or they can deck them out at the old bus stop at the corner of Park Avenue and Morse Boulevard in Central Park.

FREE hot dogs, watermelon and water will be available for all to enjoy, while supplies last, thanks to the generosity of our Electric Utility Department. Help support the event vendors by purchasing chips and a soda to compliment your hot dog.

In conjunction with the city festivities, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art will celebrate 23 years on Park Avenue with its annual Independence Day Open House. The museum, which is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of work by American artist Louis Comfort Tiffany, will provide FREE admission to its galleries from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Also in downtown Winter Park, The Winter Park History Museum, located at 200 W. New England Ave. (north end of the Farmers’ Market building), will be open (free admission) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission.
