6:45 am: Team Challenge Winner Announcement
7:00 am: 5k (3.1 miles)
8:00 am: Watermelon Eating Contest
8:15 am: FREE Kids' Run

Watermelon 5k Team Challenge
Create a team and show your support of our local military! The team with the most participants will have a $500.00 donation made on their behalf to a local 501c3 organization that supports military service.
Food Drive
We’re collecting non-perishable food items for the Orlando VA Medical Center’s VSO Food Pantry. Our goal is 1000 food items! Collected items are to be brought to the race.
11th Annual Watermelon Eating Contest
3 men & 3 women will be chosen to participate in our Watermelon Eating Contest. Contest will begin at 8:00 am. All interested participants may sign up on race day at the Track Shack tent. Top male and female winners receive festive watermelon merchandise.
Watermelon Queens
Florida and Alabama Watermelon Queens will be coming to the Watermelon 5k for meet and greet opportunities and to preside over the Watermelon Eating Contest!
