Take an out-of-this-world journey through the science and technology of space travel without ever leaving Earth! July 20 through the 22nd at The Orlando Science Center.

Event Details

Each day of Space Exploration Weekend will feature activities like Science on a Sphere presentations, Mars colony building from recycled materials in The Hive: A Makerspace, screenings of the CineDome film "Journey to Space," and space-themed demos and experiments around the building.

Saturday, July 21 is the most exciting day to visit! These special experiences will be offered on Saturday only:

• Martian egg drop STEM challenge
• Presentations in the mobile planetarium
• NASA guest speaker presentation (1:00)
• Solar viewing outside on the terrace (weather permitting)
• Star Trek cosplayers

COST

Space Exploration Weekend activities are included with general admission to Orlando Science Center, which is free for members, $20.95 for adults, $18.95 for seniors and students, and $14.95 for youth (ages 3 – 11).

Science for All – General Admission Access Program:
If you have an Access Florida EBT card with your name on it and a matching valid form of photo ID, please show them at the admissions desk to receive admission for $3 per person, for up to six individuals.
