Harry Potter fans, rejoice! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure | Orlando is introducing an all new experience, called "The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle." 

As night falls, special effects will bring the sights and sounds of the Harry Potter books and films to life. The Orlando attraction uses state-of-the-art projection mapping and lights that will wrap around Hogwarts castle. Guests will see iconic elements from the four houses of Hogwarts– Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, as music plays from the original scores of the Harry Potter films. 
 

Orlando Theme Park adds New Night Time Attraction To Harry Potter Experience

The projection-mapping feature occurs on the heels of "The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle," another special effects experience which debuted during the holiday season. 
 
“The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” at Universal Orlando Resort will run select nights throughout the year, beginning Wed., Jan. 31. The dazzling display of lights will continue each night at dusk until Feb. 5, and will run again Feb. 7 - Feb. 12. Additional dates will be announced in the future. Park guests will get a sneak peak of the all-new experience on Jan. 27 and Jan. 28, during "A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018." "A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018" will feature Q&As with talent from the films, special panels, demonstrations and other surprises.
