Grilled cheese & beer. That's most of the menu. Yes, it's as good as it sounds. Terrific little downtown neighborhood haunt that's comfortable & delicious!

Pros: I mean grilled cheese and beer. What else do you need?

Cons: It's not open 24/7... how good would this be at like 5am??

I don't even live in Orlando anymore, but the lake is a beautiful place. They did one helluva job with a glorified rentention pond. Orange County budget surpulses FTW!

Pros: The swan boats, all the places to eat, and the easy way to count your running mileage when making the loop.

Cons: It can be a pain to park, and our non-housed friends can sometimes make it a bit awkward or dirty. But

One of best places in town to grab a beer, meet some folks, play games (shoutout the game with the metal ring and the hook!), and just generally love the fact you're in St. Pete. It's wonderful.

Pros: Crazy fun games, great beer, wonderful people, both indoor and outdoor things to do. It's like Hop Nirvana.

Cons: Unless they're going to deliver a party and quality brews like this to my house... I can't think of anything wrong

(random people chanting while on defense and moving their arms goes here)

Pros: History. Tradition. Willie Taggart's recruiting.

Cons: Aluminum bench seats everywhere. It's a pain to park. Lousy food options. Offset by what is often good football.

The home of legends. Even if you don't love NASCAR (I'm not a huge fan), everyone should come check out this hallowed ground.

Pros: It's really cool to see the evolution of auto racing from the beaches of Daytona to the asphalt of today.

Cons: I mean they only race two weeks in the winter and one in the summer, plus some smaller races that don't mean as much.

A terrific, old-school traditional cocktail bar. Great location and clientele, and some delicious libations too!

Pros: Wonderful drinks, atmosphere, and location.

Cons: Can get a bit pricey and crowded depending on the evening.

My favorite mini golf course as a kid, and likely still now. Plus they don't care if you move from 18 right back to the first tee.

Pros: Really fun course, even if you don't love Disneyana stuff. Plus it's in a great location near Swan/Dolphin/EPCOT so good for the adults.

Cons: Standard "Disney is too expensive" goes here, but it's pretty reasonable for a loop here.

This place is great and the food and drinks are delicious, but be prepared for the loud music. They've got a DJ spinning while you're eating, and it can get a bit noisy. But if you're looking for fun, food, and booze, it's terrific.

Pros: Great deals (their $2 Taco Tuesday is legendary in Tampa), and don't miss the Margaronas.

Cons: Not exactly a first date place when the DJ is spinning.

Why am I reviewing this place, when I don't want anyone that doesn't know about it already to be there??

Pros: In the middle of Hyde Park/SoHo, we need a place for those of us that live there. For those that can walk to the bar and hang with our friends.

Cons: You might read this and come. At least know someone there before you show up, don't think of this as an invitation. A true locals bar is hard to find around these parts. Except for Tiny Tap. But who can do that every day?

A great place to have an event in Tampa Bay! Wonderful raw space with plenty of exposed brick, and a perfect courtyard for indoor-outdoor events. Plus full AV/lighting that you'll need for a wedding or something else.

Pros: Convenient location and everything you need for a terrific event space.

Cons: Can be a bit tricky to park, but it's only a block walk.

Reviewing the poker room only: It's really big, and the poker room is one of the best in the Southeast. Also, it's huge. Did I mention it's big? Also the snack bar is one of the best I've seen in a poker room.

Pros: Tons of places to play, lots of ABC poker is profitable at 2-5 and below.

Cons: $2 jackpot drop is lame sauce. Also let me turn my chair around even when I'm not getting a massage.

I mean by far the best place to eat in Tampa. Incredible food stalls, great dining, and one of the best spaces in Tampa! Indoor or outdoor, it's just a great place to dine, drink, and hang.

Pros: Amazing food, great space, gorgeous sunsets, delicious drinks.

Cons: I mean it's a bit pricey, but not so bad that you should ever miss it.

Love this place, but only when it's on Groupon. When you can get $60 for $30 or some other deal, it comes in at a very good price point. But the retail is a bit pricey for what you get: you can get in and out of Bern's a couple blocks away for the same number, and that place is a legend.

Pros: Great food, great bar, great atmosphere

Cons: Pricey without a deal

So yes you can get doughnuts and cupcakes anytime of day, but when they do weird stuff, BUY IT! Ice cream in a cone made of doughnut? Do it. Oatmeal cream pie the size of a tire? Get one. Sriracha toffee? Get there.

Pros: Besides everything being delicious and a friendly staff? How about a central location right off MacDill?

Cons: WARNING: it will make you fat. Do not go every day even though you'll want to.
