Welcome to the Rotary Club of College Park! Our Rotary Club is a local service club of approximately 30 members that is part of an international service organization, Rotary International. Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries worldwide. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary's main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. As a part of Rotary International, our Rotary Club members provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
Our Rotary Club members decide which activities and projects to undertake each year and we also have the support of being a part of the worldwide network of Rotary Clubs. Our Club meets weekly, on Thursday mornings for breakfast at the Dubsdread Country Club in College Park.
The Club members also enjoy fellowship activities that include family and friends.
We are a group of local business and professional leaders working to improve our world. We start right here in the College Park community. Our projects include a Student of the Month recognition program (for students from our local schools), a Book Drive, a Barbeque Dinner, Edgewater Drive cleanup, Meals on Wheels, and sponsoring a room at the Ronald McDonald House.
