The UCF Knights were seeing red on Saturday night after a devastating defeat against the Arkansas Red Wolves.  After four minutes of fumbles and penalties, the Red Wolves scored the first touchdown of the game against the hometown team with a score of 13-7 at the half. Technically a home game, this was the 8th bowl game for the UCF knights.  Even though the local loss was heartbreaking, the real winners were those who continuously fight for the cure against breast cancer.

$1M+ Provides Pink Lining To UCF Curebowl Loss

The silver or should we say pink lining to the 31-13 loss in favor of the Arkansas Red Wolves at the Camping World Stadium on Saturday was the $1,150,000 check presented to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The proceeds from the AutoNation Cure Bowl will directly fund individual breast cancer researchers through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help find a cure for a disease that affects 1 in 8 women in the U.S and an estimated 307,660 new cases this year alone.
