Every year Orlando Oktoberfest enthusiasts flock to Sanford, Florida for the annual  Hollerbach's Oktoberfest 2019. This giant street party is packed with German drinks, food, music, and dancing. The weekend-long event will kick off on October 11th at 6:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 14th. Both parking and admission are free.

There will, of course, be food favorites like pretzels, schnitzel, and bratwurst available, but because this festival is one of the most authentic German celebrations in Central Florida there will also be dishes like sauerbraten (a pot roast of sorts) and kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes served with applesauce). Alongside delicious food, you'll find plenty of imported German beer, wine, and schnapps. Hollerbachs' Oktoberfest in Sanford will feature live entertainment by Jimmy & Eckhard, Sonnenschein Express, the Alpenrose Schuplattler Verein Dancers and more!

An Annual Orlando Oktoberfest Tradition | Hollerback's Downtown Sanford Oktoberfest

Traditional garb is not required, but if you have a lederhosen or a dirndl definitely don it! If you want an outfit for the celebration, we recommend you forgo the Halloween store and pick up traditional attire from Hollerbachs' Outfitters. This Sanford store offers imported and custom German clothing -- they will even personally size your purchase to fit your figure. While you're there you can scope out the location of the event and plan where you'll park. Speaking of planning ahead -- it's best to snag your Hollerbucks online before the event. While there is no cover for entry if you want to purchase food, drinks or merch you will need Hollerbucks. You'll be able to secure your Hollerbucks day-of with cash or card, but you can avoid a line and save money when you pre-purchase them online.

The annual Oktoberfest street party celebration is put on by Hollerbach's, a trifecta a German fare in the heart of Historic Sanford. Hollerbach's consists of three businesses: a restaurant (Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe), a costume store (Hollerbach's Outfitters), and German deli (Magnolia Square Market). Willow Tree was the first of the three Hollerbach businesses to be established and was opened on August 1st, 2001 with just seven employees. Hollerbachs now has a staff of over 90!

Hollerbach's Oktoberfest one of many great  Oktoberfest events in Orlando this Fall. We think you should invest in an outfit and try to hit them all!
