Event Details

A Libation Competition for the Ages.

In our History in a Glass series, local craft bartenders compete for bragging rights by creating libations linked to historical themes and artifacts.

Our autumn event takes its inspiration from a Civil War surgeon’s kit in the History Center’s collection. What made a good Civil War surgeon? Education, experience, deft fingers, and tools! On the battlefield, Army surgeons carried out nearly 60,000 amputations. Soldiers dreaded a visit from the “butchers.”

Enjoy great food and music, plus three hand-crafted cocktails. Members $20, non-members $25. This event is for guests 21 and older.

Doors open at 6 p.m., cocktail competition and drink service starts at 6:30.
