We can only imagine how many times "I need a drink" has been uttered by tired, sweaty, stressed-out parents with their little ones in tow at Disney's Magic Kingdom.  Since the park's inception, the prospect of buying and enjoying a cold alcoholic beverage inside the Magic Kingdom has been mere fantasy.  That is, until now.

The French-style Be Our Guest restaurant will join the Orlando theme park's long list of dining options as the only establishment that will serve up booze inside Magic Kingdom.  The restaurant will premier with a soft opening on Monday, November 19 inside the park's new Beauty and the Beast attraction, part of Magic Kingdom's $425 million FantasyLand expansion now underway.

Alcohol will be limited to the dinner-time hours at Be Our Guest where patrons can choose from an assortment of French wines as well as French and Belgian beers to pair with their food.  Wines will be specially selected from France's most notable wine-producing regions including Champagne, Alsace, Loire, Rhone, Burgundy and Bordeaux.  In addition, Be Our Guest will serve France's signature beer, Kronenbourg 1664 and an assortment of Belgian beers with their French-inspired cuisine.

Naturally, guests will be prohibited from bringing their alcoholic beverages anywhere outside of the 500-seat restaurant.

Disney does offer alcohol at its three other Florida theme parks.  Epcot celebrates their famous Food and Wine Festival which kicks off on September 28 this year while Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom both play home to various themed bars, some of which serve liquor.
