No offense to your childhood or anything, but we can guarantee this creation blows any measly LEGO figure you ever created out of the water.  Rolling off the the line today at Ford's Chicago Assembly Plant, a special LEGOLAND Ford Explorer has been crafted to commemorate the opening of LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Park.  The major difference between this Explorer and the others; it's composed entirely of LEGO bricks, 382,858 of them to be exact.

The full-size model, which took over 2,500 hours by 22 employees to create (video below), will work as the centerpiece of the Ford Driving School Exhibit at LEGOLAND Florida.  The Ford Driving School at LEGOLAND will allow children to enjoy the safe fun and responsibility of driving in their own LEGO vehicle.

The Ford Driving School at LEGOLAND Florida will be divided into two sections; one for children ages 3-5, and another for ages 6 through 12.  Kids start the exhibit by watching a video with driving instructions and safety tips before getting the opportunity to ride in their own electric vehicles on a course.

LEGOLAND Florida, a 150-acre theme park with over 50 rides and exhibits made of over 50 million LEGO bricks will open in Winter Park, Florida on October 15.  Come check out this Ford Explorer at LEGOLAND and many other LEGO built attractions and rides.  Just a 45 minute drive from the cities of both Orlando and Tampa, LEGOLAND Florida is slated to be a major attraction for families and their kids in Florida as well as attract visitors from around the world.
