Backyard Biodiversity Day celebrates Florida's native flora and fauna. Come out and enjoy noted speakers, workshops, guided hikes, local vendors, and a huge native plant sale!
Event Details
This FREE family-friendly event features:
- Informative presentations about creating biodiverse backyard habitats that help support bees & native wildlife
- Interpretive hikes focusing on pollinator insects, edible plants, herpetology, gopher tortoises, and the ongoing sandhill habitat restoration project at Mead Garden
- Native plant & wildflower seed sale
- Environmentally-conscious exhibitors and vendors
- Kids activities
- Food trucks
- Live music
