Spring in Florida is the best season to grow a highly productive vegetable garden! Come join the experts from Fleet Farming who will walk you through basic growing needs and what to expect in the cooler months. Bring photos of your garden and allow the Fleet Farming team to be your garden guidance counselor, giving you advice during a breakout session at the end of the lecture.

Spring Garden Class will cover:
• Soil Amending Basics
• Spring Crop Selection in Florida
• Integrated Pest Management for organic gardening practices
• Water systems and irrigation
• Spring Gardening 101 tips
• PH Levels
• Resources in Central Florida for first-time gardeners

*We encourage the participants to bring their own photos for a break out discussion and one on one time with our farming team to answer questions.
*Plants and seeds will be available for a donation


About Caroline Chomanics

Caroline Chomanics is a passionate horticulturalist in the Central Florida community. She is Program Manager to Fleet Farming, a pedal-powered urban agriculture program and leads as CAO to the non-profit IDEAS For Us. A graduate of Valencia College's Landscape and Horticulture Program, Caroline is also an Eco-Educator through Inspiring Minds Day School, Nehrling Gardens and Fleet Farming.
