Did you know that October 9th is PANDAS Awareness Day? It’s not awareness for the cute, cuddly Panda bears, but for PANDAS, Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. It occurs when strep triggers a misdirected immune response results in inflammation on a child’s brain.
To help raise awareness, we are hosting our second annual PANDAS Day 5K. We only have 500 medals available, so once they’re gone, they’re gone! Order NOW!
We will also be donating at least 15% of every registration to PANDAS NETWORK, an incredible organization which is dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of children with PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome).
