2018 KidFest Young Filmmakers’ Summer Camp

Students in grades 5-9, can create their own movie and experience the art of filmmaking by studying cinematic techniques, learning about the exciting history of filmmaking, and diving into the production of an independent film. After wrapping the shoot, they can see their work projected on the big screen with their fellow filmmakers, family, and friends.

2018 KidFest Young Filmmakers’ Summer Camp
July 9 – July 22
Graduation Ceremony & World Premiere
on Sunday, July 22 at 11 AM

This two-week summer camp, held July 9 – 13 and July 16 – 20 with a graduation ceremony held on July 22, is located at Enzian and open to children entering grades 5-8. No previous experience with filmmaking or equipment is required. Tuition is $550 or $475 for Enzian Film Society members.

Tuition includes: All instruction and supplies, catered lunches and snacks each day of camp, and a special red-carpet event for family and friends to see the final projects premiere on the big Enzian screen.

Mon-Thu 7/9-7/12 Camp: 9AM–5PM
Friday 7/13 Camp: 9AM–3PM
Mon-Thu 7/16-7/19 Camp: 9AM–5PM
Friday 7/20 Camp: 9AM–3PM
Sunday 7/22 Graduation & Premiere: 11AM
