Tito Puente Jr. and Rico Monaco Band will be featuring the Greatest Hits of Tito Puente and the Best of Latin Rock at their just announced show at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theatre on Sunday July 23, 2017. The band will include 9 pieces with horns. The music will be directed by Rico Monaco and be a unique Latin Rock take on the Tito Puente songs. Tito and Rico have performed together in this format around the world together in such cities as Paris, France, New York City, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Miami, Tampa, etc.
This show will include Tito Puente hits Oye Como Va, El Cayuco, Ran Kan Kan, and Mambo Gazon. Classic hits by Santana, Juanes, Zucchero, Mana, Enanitos Verdes, and Classic Rock songs done in the Latin Rock style. Also, original songs by award winning Orlando musician Rico Monaco.
And a Special Guest appearance by Melina Almodóvar "La Muñeca de la Salsa."
