Give Kids the World & Amazing Race Orlando is excited to welcome Scott Flanary, winner of The Amazing Race Season 29, to Kissimmee, FL as the celebrity guest host for the World Premiere of Amazing Race Orlando on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Give Kids the World Village Ballroom at 7:00 PM.
In October, nine teams were selected to run the Amazing Race Orlando. Teams competed in mental and physical challenges across the Orlando area, all while being filmed by students from Full Sail University. The trailer for the race can be viewed here: www.AmazingRaceOrlando.com
So far, teams have raised over $4,000 for Give Kids the World which is the official charity of the Amazing Race Orlando. Give Kids the World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free vacations.
Each year 27,000 children in the United States are diagnosed with a critical illness. Their goal, quite simply, is to provide everything these deserving families need to make their trip the vacation of a lifetime. Since 1986, more than 167,000 children and families have had their dreams fulfilled in a whimsical Village unlike any other place on earth.
