The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.  
Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! For more information on the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation please visit www.tunnel2towers.org
This event, now in its 7th year attracts hundreds of local first responders and military service members.  In 2013, Orlando was one of only 9 "Tunnel to Towers" events across the country, with just over 300 participants. At this year’s 2019 event we will celebrate with over 1,000 participants. We could not have had the success without your support. "Thank You" to our valued sponsors, participants and community minded partners. This year, nationally "Tunnel to Towers" will host over 60 events to include 5K's and Tower Climbs.
How far is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk – Orlando?This is a 5k (3.1 miles). You are welcome to walk or run this event.
Can I get a timing chip?Yes.
Can I register the day of the run?Yes, credit card or check is preferred; however, cash is also accepted. The registration fee increases to $50 on race day.  
When does online registration close?Registration will close on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
Is there transportation to and from the event?No, we do not provide transportation to and from the event.
Is there parking available?Yes, there is plenty of parking available onsite.

Do I have to wear my bib number?Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment. Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
I am a fast runner. Can I get a front-line position?There will be an announcement for fast runners to come to the 'Start'. However, please note that all First Responders will be corralled at the starting line at the beginning of the rac
