Orlando is quickly becoming one of the United States' leading innovation hubs and now there is an event earmarked to celebrate all that progress. The inaugural Synapse Orlando takes place on October 18 at Ace Cafe, featuring one of a kind conversations with some of the region's top leaders and thinkers. 

The keynote speakers presenting at Synapse include UCF interim president Dr. Thad Seymour Jr. and Insomniac Games Head of Technology Shaun McCabe. The agenda is packed from 9am-5:30pm with a full day of presentations from the top experts in business, the military, and academics. 

Sessions include a dive into what virtual reality is doing for human interaction, how autonomous taxis could be coming to Orlando's roads in the near future and how artificial intelligence should be embraced, not feared. 

Synapse will key in on top Orlando innovation industries like human performance and simulation, while also covering fields like real estate and beauty. Other technologies that will be featured include cybersecurity, defense tech, energy, experience tech, extended reality, financial, healthcare, IOT, machine learning and space exploration. 

The full-day event features over 50 speakers, 30 breakout sessions and 40 exhibitors. Sponsorship and exhibition space are currently sold out.

A full-access ticket is $149 for members of the general public and $49 for students, active military and first responders. For $299, attendees can purchase a VIP ticket that includes access to a VIP after-party, VIP lounge admission, complimentary food, drinks and lunch and reserved seats.
