Orlando burger lovers now have an event each year in Orlando that is sure to please. The second annual Orlando Burger Battle takes place on Saturday, September 15 at Festival Park from 12-6 p.m.

Local chefs and restaurants in Orlando will whip up their very best burgers and compete in three categories: people's choice, judges choice, best restaurant choice. There will be over 25 local restaurants squaring off to determine who has the best burgers in Orlando.

Top three finishers in each category will receive a trophy. There will be a fun group of local guests and celebrities to serve as the competition judges.

Members of the public can get in on the fun too. Early bird tickets are currently available for $10 and they include entry to the event, sample size burger tasting, and voting privileges.

After July 31, the ticket price goes up to $20 and the Orlando Burger Battle will also sell $30 passes at the door. There is also a child's admission ticket available for $10 that gives kids 6-12 access to the event and kids play area.

In addition to the great burger tasting, there are several other fun activities going on all day. There will be live music all day, art vendors, a Burger Eating Challenge and beer and wine available.

Last year's inaugural event was held at Ace Cafe. The judges choice winner for the best burger in Orlando was Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and the people's choice champion was White Wolf Cafe

A portion of the proceeds raised from the event was donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and this year's contest will again benefit charity.

This is not the correct Burger Battle. I am the Director of Digital for Orlando Magazine and there is an imposter event selling fraudulent tickets to an event that is not going to happen. OUR Burger Battle, the one pictured in your article, is this Saturday at the Seminole Harley-Davidson from 6-9: http://www.orlandomagazine.com/Burger-Battle/
