The George on the Riverwalk

The George on the Riverwalk offers scenic views of the Wilmington riverfront that are sure to make Mother's Day memorable. The menu offers seafood-infused brunch fare like surf and turf benedict and shrimp and grits. 

One of the unique items available is the french toast foster made with sourdough bread, fresh bananas, candied walnuts, and rum syrup. Each brunch entree comes with a side item, and you can't go wrong choosing the stone ground white cheddar grits.

Hops Supply Co.

Hops Supply Co. is one of the city's most popular gastropubs and an emerging Sunday brunch destination. Live acoustic music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. creates a fun atmosphere for Mother's Day. 

$2 fresh-squeezed orange juice mimosas and cucumber Bloody Marys highlight the brunch offerings. A food menu that features local honey-baked french toast, southern biscuits, and a farm egg BLT sandwich is nothing to scoff at, either.

The Fork n Cork

Brunch in Downtown Wilmington is highlighted by Fork n Cork. They are known throughout the week for their ten delicious burger creations, but they add brunch classics to the menu on weekends. 

The Brisket Biscuit featuring Texas bbq brisket, sunny side up eggs, and a creole mustard is a favorite. Fork n Cork also has other top options like biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash 'n eggs, and french toast.

Jester's Cafe

Jester's Cafe is a quaint establishment built into a former residence located outside the normal Downtown Wilmington scene off Castle Street. Eggs benedict is the highlight of the brunch offerings here with variations like the black bean benedict and pork tenderloin benedict gaining top billing. 

Jester's also offers classics like french toast casserole and strata along with serving a full menu of their specialty sandwiches. They have tremendous deserts and an on-site bakery so visitors can take home some of their most enticing treats.
