Many have waited in impatient anticipation for months on end and now, the time has (almost) come. In just over a month, Disney's Magic Kingdom will finally open the doors to the newly-renovated, now-26-acre Fantasyland attraction featuring a handful of new rides, restuarants, and more.
Set to officially open on Thursday, December 6, the newly-renovated Fantasyland will boast a slew of new rides, shops, and restuarants including Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales With Belle, Ariel's Grotto, Gaston's Tavern, Bonjour! Village Gifts, and the first-ever alcohol-serving establishment inside the Magic Kingdom, the Be Our Guest restaurant.
Gaston's Tavern - a new quick-serve dining spot - will feature, amongst other items, LeFou's Brew which features frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow topped with an all-natural passion fruit-mango foam.
Enchanted Tales with Belle is a brand-new style of attraction at Magic Kingdom where guests are led on a tour through the village and regaled with stories from Belle in this Beauty and the Beast inspired experience.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Disney let a few lucky, random passer-byers enter and explore the new Fantasyland expansion over this past weekend. We'll venture to guess the odds are pretty good that they'll pull a stunt like this again.
The Times even states that "chances are good" you'll get a sneak peek if you visit the park between now and the opening date just over a month away.
