Robin Cowie has spent the last 25 years in the entertainment business blowing our minds producing suspenseful thrillers such as the original The Blair Witch Project, VHS 2 and Hall-o-scream's Unearthed project.  As a Producer, Director and Writer, Cowie has made a career or telling a compelling tail.  Since the Halloween season is upon us we decided to sit down and talk with Robin about his many talents, projects and why he's so much more than gore.

Inheriting his love for film and story-telling from his father, his portfolio is packed including work with The Golf Channel, Disney At Home as well as his work as the Creative Director for the launch of the Dr. Phillips Center. Whether you've had your pulse jump from one of his horror films, experienced a performance at Dr. Phillips Center or made forever memories at Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida chances are you've experienced his work in one form or another.  

Robin Cowie has taken on a new challenge working with Electronic Arts.  Gamers get ready because he's got some really impressive technology in the works that will forever change the way you game. 

" I'm developing some really creative content with EA. Film,Television, and games are all converging. In 10 years from now, it will be hard to tell which technology you're in because there is so much cross over between all those worlds. The future of story-telling is in the games." says, Cowie. 

Get Creative With Orlando Story Club 

A recipient of the Nova Award from the Producers Guild of America, Robin Cowie is always looking for new ways to create and inspiring others to do the same.  The Orlando resident has many creative outlets but the Orlando Story Club is a concept that is close to his heart.   

The monthly event hosted at The Abbey in Downtown Orlando gives locals the opportunity get in front of an audience and tell their stories for a great cause. A $5 donation is requested with proceeds benefiting local charities with this month's event benefiting ArtReach Orlando. Have a "Survival" story that you are just dying to get out?
