Johnny's has announced eight of the nine whiskeys and they are all quality Kentucky classics. There will be three varieties of Knob Creek, including their rye and single barrel, as well as a trifecta of "B" bourbons with Basil Hayden's, Bookers, and Bakers all in the lineup. The last two are high-end selections from Jim Beam -- Jim Beam Black and Jim Beam Double Oak. The final whiskey is still to be announced.
The tasting will take place at Johnny's Other Side, a casual open-air restaurant & bar just south of Downtown Orlando. The large covered deck has two levels and plenty of misting fans to keep patrons cool. Johnny's Other Side has an authentic Florida vibe and walking in feels like you've stumbled into a great spot in Key West. The food is classic American done right. Craft beer and whiskey signs cover the walls, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Johnny's Other Side was built in 2009, but the location's original building -- Johnny's Fillin Station-- has been around for over 30 years. It started as a shaved lemon ice business and has grown into so much more. Johnny's is located at the intersection of Michigan and Ferncreek and regularly hosts events.
