Orlando, Florida has established itself as a family vacation destination for decades. There are many theme parks in Orlando Florida, including Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios, and there are many other things to do as well.

Disney World is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation for some families, but for others it’s an annual pilgrimage. Home to four different theme parks, two water parks, and loads of shopping and entertainment, Disney World has no shortage of things to do. Magic Kindom is the oldest of the four parks, first built in 1971. The park is home to world famous rides such as Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Meeting your favorite characters in person at Magic Kindom is sure to bring out the kid in you. Epcot Center offers a variety of attractions. Be entertained by performers from around the world in the World Showcase, or marvel at state-of-the art technology on the rides in Future World. The Kilimanjaro Safaris offers a unique way to see nature up close and personal. Cool off on hotter days at one of the two water parks, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Universal Studios is actually two theme parks in one; Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The two parks together feature some amazing rides, like The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man, Incredible Hulk, Men in Black, Terminator 2 3D, and the brand new Harry Potter World. Located inside Islands of Adventure, Harry Potter World gives fans of the books and movies a chance to enter the world of witchcraft and wizardry. Visitors can purchase a wand at Ollivanders, ride the Flight of the Hippogriff, or down a butterbeer.

Rounding out your options of theme parks in Orlando Florida is Seaworld. You can visit with Shamu, dolphins, sea lions, and many other forms of marine life in this park. Seaworld also features amazing rides like Journey to Atlantis and Manta.
