Funk Fest 2013, an evening music festival featuring some of the most notable funk bands and artists from around the nation, is coming to Tinker Field in Orlando on Saturday, April 6.

Funk Fest 2013 will feature some of the biggest names in modern and classic funk including Anthony Hamilton, Bel Biv Deboe, Dru Hill, and El Debarge performing live at Tinker Field beginning at 5 p.m.

Now in its 19th year, Funk Fest has grown from a small, local festival in Mobile, Alabama to a full-scale traveling festival showcasing the best in old school and new funk music, hip hop, jazz, and more.

Tickets to Funk Fest 2013 in Orlando begin at $35 for general admission.  Bring your own lawn chair or blanket (or rent one there) to kick back to the soulful sounds from the stage.

Preferred/reserve tickets are $60 and will get you seating behind the VIP area with chairs, but no tables provided.  VIP tickets are $80 and include a reserved chair at a table directly in front of the stage as well as a private bar, restrooms, and food vendors.

Premium VIP tickets to Funk Fest 2013 are $100 and include everything listed above as well as one meal ticket and one drink ticket.
